It has a very convenient location in the center of Niederau, opposite the main ski area, next to the gondola lift, children’s ski school, restaurants and après-ski bars. You can get to the main ski area of the Ski Juwel resort (Auffach village) using the free bus, which stops next to the hotel. On the lower floor of the building there is a ski rental point, guests are provided with a free ski storage cell. The rooms are very simple in design and not very spacious, but warm, cozy and clean.
“Austria Hotel” works on the “half board” system, offering its guests breakfast – a buffet with several types of cereal, pastries, yoghurts, fruit salads, cheese and cold meats, an egg dish, a wide selection of jams, juices, coffee and tea. For dinner, a salad bar, soup, a main course (three options to choose from, including a vegetarian one, as well as a dessert) are offered. The 4-star hotel “Auffacher Hof” is located in the village of Auffach, next to the Schatzberg lift, leading to the main ski area of this resort. Unlike other villages in the region, from where skiers get to this station by free bus, you will not have to waste time on travel. This is an undoubted advantage, especially if you are on holiday with small children. The hotel itself is very pleasant in service and homely cozy, has been managed by one Austrian family for many years.
In addition to the ideal location, it is worth noting the clean and tidy rooms, decorated in a modern or traditional Tyrolean style, high-quality food with the possibility of ordering vegetarian or dietary dishes, a well-equipped recreation area with several types of saunas, water beds and a steam room.
