CHILDREN’S CAMPS (Bulgaria)

1. BRIGANTINA:

The Brigantina Children’s Health Center is located on the territory of one of the most popular and most children-oriented resorts in Bulgaria – Albena. It is located 30 km from Varna, in close proximity to the Baltata Nature Reserve and 600 meters from its own area on the beach. The camp was created in 2004 and since then has been giving children only pleasant and unforgettable holidays. Every year, the Brigantina camp hosts the international children’s film festival “Scarlet Sails”, during which competitive children’s films are shown.

In addition to screenings, master classes are held with invited theater and film actors. The camp’s recreation program is always rich and interesting for vacationers of any age. The total capacity of the camp is 520 people. The comprehensive health program for children and adolescents includes mandatory physical activity (morning exercises, walks, outdoor games), therapeutic measures (therapeutic physical training, aqua gymnastics), proper nutrition and rest. The effectiveness of the children’s health program is also facilitated by the unique combination of the sea climate and the climatic features of the reserve, next to which the camp buildings are located. Life in the Children’s Center “Brigantina” takes place in a favorable environment for communication between children of the same age who have come on vacation from different countries. In addition to the children’s camp, there is a youth camp on the territory of the neighboring complex “Lesnaya Feya”, where vacationers are accommodated in two-story wooden cottages.

Accommodation: 4 two-story buildings: “Kalina”, “Malina”, “Birch” and “Yagoda”. In the buildings “Kalina”, “Malina” and “Birch” (each of which is designed for 140 places) – three- and four-bed accommodation, each room is equipped with a balcony, shower and toilet. The Yagoda building has 50 rooms, a shared bathroom and shower on each floor. The rooms are cleaned daily.

Meals: 5 times a day, organized on the “buffet” principle. The menu necessarily includes dairy and sour-milk products, fruits and vegetables. Traditional dishes of Bulgarian and Russian cuisine are offered. The chef, leaders of children’s groups and representatives of the administration participate in the preparation of the menu. If necessary, requests for changes and additions to the menu are taken into account.

Medical care: children’s health is constantly monitored by medical specialists (pediatrician, nurse, sports instructors, nutritionist, phytotherapist). The camp has its own medical center, consisting of a pediatrician’s office, a massage room and an inhalation and phytotherapy room.

Security: 24 hours. The camp is surrounded by a small decorative fence with a hedge.

Beach: sandy, 600 meters from the camp. The road to the beach passes through a picturesque shady part of the forest adjacent to the reserve. The children’s beach is equipped with playgrounds for beach football and volleyball. According to the project of leading Bulgarian specialists in the field of balneology and children’s health recreation, a helio-beach with a special sun-protection awning was created. The territory of the children’s beach of the Brigantina camp is guarded by a lifeguard service. Swimming takes place under the supervision of a counselor, instructor and medical worker.

Health program: medical procedures alternate with physical activity: walks in the resort park and in the surrounding area, sports games, tournaments. The comprehensive health program for children and adolescents includes morning exercises, walks, outdoor games, medical activities (therapeutic physical training, phytotherapy, aqua aerobics), proper nutrition and rest.

2. ALBATROSS:

Children’s camp “Albatross” is located in a small and quiet resort village of Kranevo, next to such large resorts as Albena and Golden Sands. All conditions for children’s recreation and health improvement have been created here: a wonderful wide sandy beach, a shady park area, the infrastructure of the complex, allowing you to have fun and usefully spend time with peers. While relaxing in “Albatross”, you can combine business with pleasure by attending language courses at the international school Language Link, operating on the basis of the camp. A well-maintained and fenced beach is located just 300 meters from the building.

In addition to the beach, the territory of Albatross has a mini-water park with three modern slides, a spacious swimming pool, sports grounds. The children’s recreation center often becomes a venue for children’s and youth music and dance festivals and competitions, among which the largest are: “Slavic Crown”, “Literary Heritage”, “Dance Storm”. Animators work with children during the day near the pool and on the beach. Children live in a 5-story building, 3-4 people per room. All rooms were renovated in 2009. Accommodation: 5-storey building, 214 rooms. Accommodation for 3-4 people per room. All rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, balconies, beds, bedside tables, a table, a wardrobe for storing personal belongings. Hot and cold water is supplied around the clock. Bed linen is changed once a week. Daily wet cleaning.

Meals: All-inclusive concept (breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, evening soup with croutons). Free drinks and water in the restaurant during meals, drinking water – 24 hours.

Security: the camp area is fenced and there is 24-hour security.

3. TSAREVETS:

The youth recreation center “Tsarevets” is organized on the basis of the former youth center “Breeze”, located in the southern part of the Golden Sands resort, on the third line from the sea. The distance to Varna airport is 18 km. We recommend this place for the recreation of responsible and already independent children aged 14-18. In 2012-2013, a major overhaul was carried out here, as a result of which an outdoor swimming pool, a summer terrace appeared on the territory of the complex, a new, multifunctional playground for volleyball, mini-football, tennis, as well as a place for animation and entertainment programs in the form of an amphitheater were equipped.

The youth camp “Tsarevets” is located 400 meters from the city sandy beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are paid, on the territory of the hotel – free. Near the building there are many cafes, discos, shops. The entertainment program, which is organized by the center’s animators, is compiled taking into account the age characteristics of vacationers and includes entertainment, creative and sports events, discos, quizzes, competitions and games. The cost of the voucher includes the use of sports equipment.

Accommodation: one main building, has 12 floors, including a reception, 138 rooms (three-bed). The last reconstruction was carried out in 2012-2013. In the room: 3 beds, TV with satellite channels, telephone, air conditioning, mini-fridge, bathroom with shower, balcony.

Meals: “full board” (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner).

Breakfast: pastries, dairy products, sausages, salads, fruits, desserts, drinks (cocoa, tea, fruit drinks, water);

Lunch: salads, hot and cold appetizers, soups, main meat and Lenten dishes, side dishes, fruits and desserts, drinks (tea, fruit drinks, water);

Medical assistance: the complex does not have its own medical center. If necessary, a doctor is called under insurance.

4. SERDIKA:

A holiday at the Serdika youth center will give your children many new friends from different countries and a lot of fun from socializing and beach recreation. Serdika is located only 15 km from Varna, which guarantees a not too tiring transfer from the airport. Most of the campers are teenagers aged 13-18. The youth center is located on the basis of a hotel in the central part of the Golden Sands resort, known for its focus on active and fun recreation. The hotel is surrounded by a picturesque park. The beach with its own area for Serdika guests is located just 350 meters from the building. The resort’s Aquapolis water park is 400 meters away – an ideal place for water activities. And on the territory of Serdika there is its own small water park, consisting of three water slides. Next to the youth center there are sports grounds, where competitions and games are held during the day. Animators work with children on the beach and on the territory of the hotel.

Accommodation: all Studio rooms are 4*, 6 people per room. Room facilities: telephone, TV – SAT-TV, including four Russian channels, refrigerator, air conditioning, beds, bedside tables, three-door wardrobe, coffee table with armchairs, desk, table and floor lamps, bathroom, terraces. In the bathroom: bath, two showers, two washbasins, telephone, hairdryer, mirror with lighting. Some bathrooms have a bidet. Some rooms are equipped with two bathrooms. Daily wet cleaning, change of bed linen (two sheets, pillowcase) and two towels is done once every 6 days.

Meals: the camp offers its guests all-inclusive meals:

-breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 (buffet)

-late breakfast / mid-day meal from 10:30 to 11:30 (puff pastry, cookies, cakes; drinks – mineral water, juices)

-lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 (buffet)

-afternoon snack from 15:00 to 17:00 (puff pastry; cookies; cakes; drinks – mineral water, juices; pizza; ice cream)

-dinner from 18:00 to 20:00 (buffet)

Medical care: 24-hour medical care, a doctor’s office is equipped.

Security: the entire territory of the MMC “Serdika” is monitored and guarded 24 hours a day by a specialized security service.

5. JUNIOR CLUB:

The Junior Club International Children’s Camp is located in the sea town of Kiten on the basis of the 3-star Green Park Hotel, surrounded by the large and picturesque Strandzha Nature Park. The territory is all green, thanks to which even the hottest days are easy to bear. The sandy Atliman beach with its own guarded area is only 350 meters from the building. The Junior Club camp is located separately, at a distance from the nearest hotels.

At the same time, the center of Kiten is only 500 meters from the complex, you can get to it by train. Most of the campers are children aged 12-16 years, who arrived from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, the Baltic countries. During their vacation, children use the hotel infrastructure (swimming pool, games room, cinema, sports grounds), a specially designed entertainment program with animators is offered. The territory of the complex is guarded, video surveillance is installed. Meals 4 times a day: buffet with drinks included during breakfast, afternoon snack, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: 4-storey building, rooms with 4-bed accommodation. In the room: air conditioning, TV with cable channels, refrigerator, telephone, balcony, bathroom (shower, hairdryer). Daily cleaning of rooms.

Meals: 4 times a day, organized as a “buffet” with drinks included (at least two types) during breakfast (8:00 – 10:00), lunch (12:30 – 14:00), afternoon snack (15:00 – 16:30) and dinner (18:30 – 20:30). The menu includes fresh fruits and vegetables.

Medical care: a medical center is equipped on the territory of the complex, a doctor is on duty around the clock.

Security: around the clock, carried out by a specialized service. The territory of the Junior Club camp is illuminated in the evening, and there are CCTV cameras at the entrance to the building.
